The next morning they begin their trip back to Adam's home. However they both had decided to keep their present home cause it had so many beautiful memories that they feel hard to let go. Adam had book a cab instead of him driving in as he knew Zaharah's needs help with Aden's needs and he wants Zaharah to have ample comfort and rest throughout this long trip. Zaharah was touched towards Adam loving gestures. And just like their previous trip before, they reach his parent's home almost half past midnight. Ana welcomes them back and send them into their rooms.
"Zaharah, congratulation. I heard the news from Adam. He had call me earlier this morning and broke this news to me." said Ana as she took Zaharah's hand. Zaharah smile and nodded."Thanks Ma, but I need to learn alot from you." replied Zaharah and she was determined to be a good mother to this child. "You go and rest now...both of you." said Ana as she left them in their room. "Thanks ma." responded Adam and Zaharah. Aden has been taken care by the nanny in his nursery room. Zaharah drags her feet towards the bed as she was extremely exhausted. Adam pull the blanket across her chest and smile lovingly towards her.
"Sweet dreams...I need to check on something first alright." said Adam as he kisses her forehead. Zaharah nodded and soon she was lost in her dreamworld. Adam walks out from the room and headed towards his late father reading room. He stood by the window and tries to recall the best moment he had with him in that room.
"You are back." Adam was startle upon hearing that voice. He turns around and it was Zaki. Zaki walks into the room coming closer towards the window and stand beside Adam. He too had his eyes focus on the view outside. "It's a great lost." exclaimed Zaki as he close his eyes trying his best not to let those tears fall on his face. Adam nodded not knowing how to react to his brother's remarks. "Father was right...we should come together as brothers and bring back the glory which our father had build from his blood and sweat. Let's put our differences aside and work together as a term as a family." continue Zaki. Adam was speechless and he stares at Zaki with full of questions in his mind. Is this Zaki..is that really him..? My brother has change..! Adam nodded and smile reaching out his hand. Zaki responded and shake Adam's hand.
The next morning Zaharah was suprised to see Adam all dress up with tie and suits. "Well, how do I look?" asked Adam as he begins adjusting his tie around his neck. Zaharah sat on the bed and giggle as she knew it was pure torment for Adam to dress up so formally. She was ready for Adam's new commitment working at his father's company.
"Nice...!" reply Zaharah giggling away.
"Just that...nice..!" cried Adam as he look at himself in the mirror. "Ahrgg..I look stupid!" as he begins struggling with the tie around his neck. Zaharah walk closer towards Adam and hold him in her arms. "Charming..!" utter Zaharah as she kiss him on the nose. Adam smile gleefully and at last he decides to go to the office with his jeans and shirt. "I can work better in these." exclaimed Adam as he took Zaharah's hand and walks towards the dining area for breakfast. Zaki and Ana had already waited for them at the dining table.
"Puntuality is part of our father's rule and also part of his principal." exclaimed Zaki as Adam and Zaharah taken their seats. "I'm sorry...it won't happen again. I promised." replied Adam. Zaharah had several doubts about Zaki's sudden changes of heart. She does not want to speculate and therefore she decides to keep that thought to herself at this present moment. But she felt worried...worried for Adam's safety. It is Adam's nature to be so forgiving and at times he can be easily manipulate. Zaharah had to take extra precaution against Zaki if he decides to turn the tables again. After breakfast, Ana decides to make some phonecalls about her in coming trip back to her hometown as she has decides to render her service at the ophanage which Zayeed had built. Zaharah walks Adam towards the door as Zaki got towards his car while making some phonecalls on his mobile phone.
"Adam, I'm not sure about this. I don't know but I have this strange sick feeling that something is just not right." said Zaharah looking straight into Adam's big brown eyes.
"Zaharah, you worry too much. Remember me in your prayers alright." replied Adam as he lovingly carress her hair. Then he kisses her forehead and walk towards the car to join Zaki. Adam turn back to face Zaharah and wave his hand.
"Here you drive!" exclaimed Zaki as he threw the car keys towards Adam. Adam caught hold of the keys and smile. "I'm sure glad too." as this is the first time he got the chance to drive in his brother's fancy sport car. Zaharah stood outside the gate until the car speed off and was out of her sight. "Maybe Adam was right. I worried too much. Maybe we should give Zaki another chance to prove himself." thought Zaharah too herself and she went back into the house. Zaharah came into the nursery and saw Aden was playing with his blocks and she notice that he was very engrossed with what he is doing right now. He did not arrange the blocks according to colours but he prefer to mix and match them with different colours much too Zaharah amusement. Just then Ana enters the room to join them.
"I might be off for this trip maybe tomorrow morning." said Ana as she sat beside Aden.
Zaharah smile and nodded. "Pa will be very proud of your choice Ma. I'm sure of it."
"Adam told me about the DNA test. The report came in three months time. That can be agonizing for the both of you." continue Ana.
"Yah..it is Ma. But we are both prepare for the outcome. We have decided if he's not Adam's blood we will officially adopt him...even if his father is Zaki. As we are so in love with this kid..and it's hard to let go." replied Zaharah looking lovingly towards Aden. Aden was still having fun arranging and clapping his hands, laughing and talking few words about his achivements.
"Yah, you are one smart lad." cried Zaharah as she tossed his brown hair. Aden look at her with his big light brownish eyes and grin.
"Zaharah, I have been thinking of bringing Aden along with me for my up coming trip if you will let me."asked Ana as she was hoping to build some bond with her grandson. Zaharah remains silence for a moment and she felt uncertain about this plan.
"Please don't get me wrong Zaharah...I just want you to spend some ample time with Adam. And further more you have your junior growing inside you. I don't want you to tire yourself cause Aden can be quite a handful little chimp." explained Ana hoping that Zaharah will let her take Aden along with her.
"How long you are going to be there ma?" asked Zaharah.
"Probably three months. And furthermore it is a good exposure for Aden cause he's going to meet and make lots of friends." said Ana.
"You are right..he's a smart kid...it will be a waste of his talent if I did not allow him to mix around with other children." replied Zaharah. "Alright ma..you can bring him but do call me once in awhile cause I'm sure me and Adam going to miss him." continue Zaharah as she carrys Aden in her lap. Aden chuckles as Zaharah tickles him on his tummy.
Adam saw the huge and tall bulding which had stood for almost fifty years on the ground. He remember he's being there once in a while when he was a kid. His late father's company really stood out from the rest of the building in this town. However he knew his father's business is tumbling down and bound to collapes at any point of time. But Adam was not going to let that happen...he already let his father down before but not this time....this time he came back for a purpose...to built back what his father had lost.
"Are you ready?" asked Zaki. Adam turn to look at his big brother and replied. "I'm all set."
Zaki smile and nodded. As they enter the bulding Adam was amaze with the surrounding of it and what catches his surprised is some of his paintings were hung along the hallway towards the elevator. And everyone in the building seem to recognise him and began greeting him though he was not used and feel kind of uneasy with all these attention. He looks at everyone dressing up so formally and feel choke. As they both enter the elevator, Adam begins to stare at Zaki. Well he's brother looks good with his suit and tie. Then he look at his simple T-shirt and jeans.
"What's wrong with you?" asked Zaki.
"Nothing." replied Adam shaking his head looking lost.
Zaki show Adam the location of his office and then he brings Adam to his very own office. Adam steps into his working area and he was speechless. It was huge with lots of books and file cases. He went towards his table and there was a desktop computer and not only that on the other side of the table there's another laptop. "So many gadgets." exclaimed Adam. He was nervous sure he is....this is something so new...away from his line. Zaki notice the anxious look on Adam's face.
"You do not have to worry..cause I'm personally going to train you. I have the full confidence in you bro...just like what our late father had said earlier. You can do it..if you set your goals..our goals straight." exclaimed Zaki looking straight into Adam's eye. Adam nodded. "Alright let's do this." replied Adam.
